FAQs
What makes it “ceremonial grade”?
Ceremonial matcha is harvested from the youngest leaves, shade-grown for higher L-theanine and umami, then stone-milled ultra-fine.
The result: a sweet, velvety, frothable powder suitable for traditional preparation.
Is this authentic Japanese matcha?
Yes, our powder comes from Uji, Kyoto, certified ceremonial-grade and 100% tencha leaves.
Does matcha have caffeine?
Yes, but unlike coffee, matcha provides calm, steady energy thanks to L-theanine.
Is Kino-mori matcha bitter?
No. Properly grown and milled Uji matcha is naturally mellow. Any sharpness usually comes from overheated water or unsifted powder.
How should I store matcha?
Keep sealed, away from light and heat. Refrigerate after opening and consume within 3 months for peak freshness.
